About Praveen Knight

Originating from Mukkam, Calicut (Kerala), Mr. Knight’s journey is a story of perseverance and passion. Having completed his 12th-grade education, he began his career from humble beginnings—working as a gas station attendant and hotel service assistant. In 2007, he entered the corporate world through a call center in Chennai, gaining mastery in communication and leadership, and later transitioned into the pharmaceutical industry with Nicholas Piramal, Cipla, Pfizer, and Abbott.

In 2011, he joined Sahajanand Medical Technologies (SMT), quickly rising to Regional Head by age 25. Guided by entrepreneurial vision, he founded Cardia Healthcare, a cardiology devices company that laid the foundation for what would become Oreol Group.

Recognizing the potential of laser technology in modern surgery, Mr. Knight introduced it to India’s general surgery field in 2018, training over 2,000 doctors and installing 300+ systems. Overcoming challenges during the pandemic, he emerged stronger, launching Bioluminous in 2024 — India’s first AI- and robotics-integrated medical diode laser.

Today, Oreol Group operates from its corporate headquarters in Bangalore, with divisions spanning medical device manufacturing, healthcare training, and digital innovation. Mr. Knight holds five patents, has authored six books, is a global speaker, traveler, filmmaker, and photographer — inspiring excellence, innovation, and resilience across continents.
